Au nanorods were prepared by seed growth method by adjusting the concentration of Cu(NO3)2 in the growth solution.The samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and UV absorption spectra.SEM images shown that the addition of Cu(NO3)2 made Au nanorods had two kinds:rod like and block like.With the increase of Cu(NO3)2 dosage,the amount of the rod like particles decreased and the block materials increased.When the dosage of Cu(NO3)2 was 3.0μL,the rod was the least.Combined with the UV absorption spectrum,it was found that the sample had only one absorption peak,and there was no longitudinal characteristic absorption peak of Au nanorods.In conclusion,the addition of Cu(NO3)2 will affect the growth of Au nanorods,which was conducive to the synthesis of bulk gold nanomaterials,which provided an experimental basis for the preparation and application of bulk gold nanoparticles.
